Maynard “Nard” Maduli is an Assurance Manager at Sorren, based in the firm’s Philippines office, with more than eight years of experience in the assurance industry. He leads and manages financial audit engagements across a broad range of industries, including nonprofit organizations, real estate and construction, consumer and industrial products and services, and employee benefit plans. Throughout his career, Maynard has taken full ownership of the audit process, from planning through final reporting, while ensuring compliance with firm methodologies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maynard is known for providing clear strategic direction to audit teams and maintaining proactive, transparent communication with clients and onshore counterparts. His experience includes working with multinational and publicly listed entities, Fortune 500 companies, multi-state organizations, Single Audit engagements, governmental audits for federally recognized Tribes, and private equity funds reporting under investment company guidance. As the first Assurance Manager based in Sorren’s Philippine office, he played a key role in strengthening offshore–onshore collaboration by leading process improvements that streamlined workflows and enhanced efficiency across cross-border engagements. In recognition of his collaborative leadership, he was named Harris CPAs Exceptional Teamwork Awardee in 2024.
Originally from Candon City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, Maynard remains closely connected to the academic community by teaching auditing courses at the university on weekends. Outside of work, he enjoys watching series and anime, playing tennis, and occasionally playing the guitar. A fan of Roger Federer, Maynard also enjoys traveling and hopes to one day take a tour across Europe as he continues to explore destinations throughout Asia.
